One of the Strangest Nights of my Life

I'm 55.  I've seen and done a lot of things, but
tonight was totally weird.
I went to visit some friends and we were sitting
out on the patio enjoying the cool night air.
A drunk neighbor and his girlfriend show up.
He decides to physically attack me, then slaps
the hell out of his girlfriend.  This is so foriegn
to me.
Well, she get totally angry and just loses it.
I'm sure it's not the first time he's done this
sort of thing....so she runs across the street
and grabs his gun!  Next thing we know, we're
hiding in the house because gun shots are going
off in the back yard.
Way too much for me, so I hightail it out of
there.
Weirdest damn night of my life.
Thought I would share that with you folks.

Deep in Thought? Why not write a Blog?

I find myself in deep thoughts lately.

Sometimes I'm having more humerous
musings.

All these thoughts just going to waste
sitting there in my head...why not put
them in a blog?

Well, that's basically how this got started
and I'm just gonna run with it.
